Swedish five piece dance folk band Golden Kanine are the kind of thing you would play at a wedding. A really fun wedding, one of those ones where everyone is drunk and we’re all dancing until 4am. Not to downplay them as just some wedding band, they’re far above that  point, but that would really be a most amazing party.

They’ve spent the past ten years finessing their sound and touring all around Europe, earning themselves a following in all of Sweden, Denmark and here in Germany. Somewhere in amongst the rough-and-tumble of indie-folk with a lo-fi Baltic feel is where they are musically right now, but listening to the material you’re not going to think they’re trying  to be anything, except who they are.

They found out they shared both taste in music and films, and decided to form a band, since they both sat on a bunch of songs. The result was called ashtray hearts to alt country band taking its inspiration from bands like Jayhawks and Wilco. The band split up a few years after and Lindvall moved to Malm
