You know how sometimes you walk into a party and all the lights are turned out except for one red globe hanging from the ceiling and there’s people making out all over the floor with a couple of casual-transvestites dancing in front of the record player and it’s obvious someone’s spiked the punchbowl with a great big dose of very strong acid? The kids of Desaster Disko have made a profession of that kind of party. They’ve been at it for five years now, so that means there’s every type of electro-indie-pop-trash-compactor debauchery that they have either seen or directly instigated. The latter is funner than the former, obviously.
Five years of crazy-sex-in-the-back-room and outrageous-dancing-in-the-front-room is not something to be ignored, so Desaster Disko celebrates. Joining the celebration will be a bunch of live acts: The Polymonsters, Ecke Schnhauser (ex-members of Herpes, Kadavar), Cat’n’Guyen along with a special performance from ”Krautmann’s Rarittenschau – Love.Letter.Lutz“.
and DJs: AC Casey (Tigeress DJs / UHOH), Foxy Boxer (We Destroy Disko), Wild Zero (Get Action! Club) and joining them on the night, being amazing in an visually aesthetic kind of a way, VJ Chuu on projections.
