Other Lives
Portland based Other Lives return to Europe on the eve of their much-anticipated third album ‘Rituals’. Of the new album, Jessie Tabbish says “we’re still trying to retain the past of our musical palate whilst really trying to stretch ourselves into a new type of music” – it not only marks a new chapter but encapsulates their relentless drive for precision. Exquisite musical soundscapes evoke a magical and mood-laden charm that glide seamlessly into an expansive, seductive, sometimes haunting, wide screen orchestration that entice Tabbish’s vocals to the fore – creating a truly wonderful collection of songs.

Gengahr
Gengahr have recently supported Alt-J on their sold out tour.
The band’s output to date feels utterly timeless and yet genuinely refreshing, Gengahr create effortlessly smooth and melodic indie-rock that meanders along a laidback sun-kissed path. With a sound that could easily stem from influences drawn from icons such as The Smiths and Modest Mouse, to the more recently revered Unknown Mortal Orchestra and Youth Lagoon, Gengahr have already received support from Huw Stephens, NME, DIY and host of peers.
Their debut single, the double A side or ‘Powder’ and ‘Bathed In Light’, was released in October 2014. Its follow up ‘She’s A Witch’ will be released on the 9th March.
