Sea Moya are a brand new psychedelic beat outfit emerging from Germany. The trio of German musicians have been writing and producing together for the past 6 months and Do Things is the first track they’re sharing with the world. Otherwise, the group is pretty elusive; we do not much about them except that one member, Elias, also plays bass in the equally elusive chillwave outfit Still Parade.
The Sea Moya sound is a collage of funk, afrobeat, krautrock and modern electronica. Processed vocals and floating synth lines are blended with organic bass and drum sounds to formulate the band’s self produced DIY sound. Current comparisons are likely to be drawn with Sinkane and Toro y Moi. Do Things is streaming online as of now and is available as a free download from the soundcloud player below.
