Event Description
The Amnesty International university groups of Berlin’s three universities host this special night to headlined Make Some Noise for Human Rights. All revenues made will be used for the groups’ current human rights projects.
The Tunics are one of those rare bands who constantly write new material and present you with new songs everytime they play live. That said, The Tunics have become a much appreciated local live band over the 1 1/2 years they’ve moved from Greater London to Berlin. Back in November 2011 the band moved to Berlin for good. Since the release of their sophomore album Dabblers’ Handbook in 2011 The Tunics have been writing new song constantly and have performed them live numerous times. Actual live bands have become a rarity these days but not a Tunics show goes by without them performing a new tune.
The Tunics are currently finishing recording their third album. Persian Sun is the first single taken from the album and is available for free download.
Also on the bill are Berlin bands Bonfyah (Reggae, Dubstep, Soul) and Shaking Legs (Funk).
